Planning a trip isn’t just about the travel, lodging and sightseeing. It’s also important to take precautions to protect your Wings Visa® Debit or Credit card. Follow these guidelines to keep your accounts safe while traveling.

Know your Personal Identification Number (PIN) 

If necessary, you can reset your debit card PIN using Manage My Cards. To change your credit card PIN, call (888) 886-0083. 

Set international travel notifications 

Otherwise, foreign transactions could be blocked in suspicion of fraudulent use. Turn on travel notifications in online banking or the mobile app.

Bring a backup card

If your primary card is lost, stolen or blocked due to suspected fraud, having a backup card can ensure uninterrupted access to funds. 

Add cards to your digital wallet 

Digital wallets may not be accepted everywhere yet, but it’s a good idea to have your cards available just in case.

Watch out for skimmers

Inspect ATMs and gas pumps for loose/damaged parts before use. These may be signs of a skimming device designed to collect your personal information.

Monitor account transactions

If you see an unfamiliar charge, call the number on the back of your card immediately. Criminals often verify account validity with small charges, then move to larger amounts.
